  Ordered the Non-Veg Thali and Shrimp Dosa. Portions were generous, the menu had good variety, and the place was clean with friendly staff. However, I would not recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for authentic South Indian food. As someone born and raised in Madras, the “Madras” name feels misleading. The thali lacked authenticity, and the curries were noticeably watered down with very little of the bold, traditional South Indian spice and depth of flavor. The food was edible, but it did not taste like proper South Indian cuisine. Overall, decent ambience and portions, but not worth it if you care about authentic South Indian flavors. I wouldn’t return.

  I usually go to House of Dosa or Dosa Corner when I’m craving a really good dosa, but today I happened to be downtown and stumbled across this spot out of nowhere, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the plain roast ghee dosa and the masala roast ghee dosa, and I have to say, it was surprisingly good. Honestly, it was just as good as Dosa Corner, which I’ve always considered my standard for a great dosa. Definitely coming back to try more of the dosas on their menu.
