Waited for our food for 45 mins. Waiter did not check on us at all after giving us our drinks.
We decided to leave.Manager apologized and asked us to wait for another 5-10mins to make the food but we did not bother waiting. Obviously the waiter must have forgotten to place our order.
It’s too bad but really really poor service and possibly poor training or just a really really bad waitress!!!

We loved the food. Menu is great with a few options for vegetarians. Service was terrible. After sitting down, the staff came to ask for drinks and gave us menus. We got the drinks in around 10 minutes. We waited another 20 minutes to order appetizers they came pretty quickly after ordering them. We finished the appetizers, waited for the waitress to come down and take the dirty dishes away and take our Meal order. We could see three staff members chatting and looking around but no one came to collect the dishes or take order. Finally, 40 minutes later she came and took the order and still leaving the dirty dishes on the small bar table 3 of us were sitting on. We waited for the table to be cleared, no one came. We saw the waitress bringing out the food towards our table, we got up and took the dirty dishes and put them on the next table to make room for our food . This was at around 11:30 am and they had 2 other tables occupied. Awesome food but horrible service!

Went to Montana's for lunch to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Our server appeared very nice but boy was her attention to detail and focus out of this world horrible. We had to remind her about every single request we made. To top it off, she forgot to punch in my mother-in-law's order. She was quick to admit that she forgot to punch it in 45 minutes later and after we followed up on the order at least four times but she just gave us a smile and NO apology. Their staff is unbelievably undertrained in customer service. At the end, they waived the charge for my MIL's order but this was after I made a big fuss.

We have been visiting the place once in a while. It is far, but we loved the place. Food was good, friendly staff. Today we have visited again. Food was hardly warm (meat, fries, burgers), like it has been cooked long ago and warmed up. Disgusting.... Server was trying to smile, but bad service, not friendly as before... At all... Very disappointed... You can immediately understand that the manager/owner has changed. Now it's ONLY Hindi/Punjabi staff. Before, you had to wait to get a table. Today, it was more than half empty.
We are so sad we have "lost" this place. No more "traditional Canadian food".
Sooooo MUCH disappointment.

My partner and I visited the Twassen location last Saturday and we wouldn't come back just to visit Montanas, especially considering cost of eating out these days and the many other restaurant selections available.
The hostess was very friendly and sat us quickly. That is where the good service ended. Our server seemed annoyed with us almost immediately. Our orders were simple with no special requests or additional questions, and we came around 7, so not around closing time. So I don't believe we gave her a reason to be annoyes. However, ever she seemed like we where bothering her with every interaction we had. She would constantly ignore our table, and help others around us. We had to flag other server's walking by which we hated cause it seemed rude, but only needed additional wet naps.
The ribs, chips, corn bread where very tasty! highlight of our meals. However we also got wings and a brisket combo, and I would avoid those again. The wings had an off putting taste and smell. I'm not sure if it was oil or the chicken was off, but I would avoid those like the plague.
All in all, considering the cost of living and eating out being a treat, I would consider somewhere else to eat.
