  I had a really great experience at Nester’s Market thanks to one of the cashiers (Sumeya I believe her name was). She was incredibly kind, friendly, and efficient, and made the whole checkout process smooth and stress-free. She answered questions with confidence and was clearly very smart and attentive. On top of that, she had such a warm, positive presence—it honestly made my day. It’s rare to come across someone who is not only great at their job but also so genuinely welcoming. Nester’s is lucky to have her!

  Very reasonably priced for an urban grocery store. I was expecting store level pricing. Smaller size store but a decent selection, including hot and cold deli options.

  I’ve had a really bad experience with the bakery at Nesters Gateway, and honestly it’s not just once it’s happened multiple times. One time I went in and the bakery section was basically empty and let me tell you it wasn’t like early in the morning or late literally lunch. The only bread they had left was expired… like 2–3 days old. That’s honestly concerning. Another time I went in asking for a specific cake and just got ignored. When I finally asked, the staff member tall old lady she was rude and just said “that’s all we have” with no help or alternative at all. At this point it’s not even about variety it’s about how customers are treated and the quality of what’s being sold. Expired or questionable food and poor service shouldn’t be normal. The store manager needs to take responsibility for what’s happening in this department. The lack of quality control and poor customer service reflects very poorly on management as well as on the store manager.

  Tried the chicken pot pie from the deli. Couldn't even finish it. I usually don't waste food, that's how bad it was. Basically made from throw away - day old chicken. So bad, I could barely keep it down.
