My friend and I stopped by Save-On-Foods to pick up flowers for a friend’s birthday, and what should have been a quick stop turned into a mini ordeal. There was no one in the florist section to help us, even though we had already prepaid for the flowers. We were hoping to have them wrapped, but no one was available. We asked customer service for assistance, and they said someone had been sent over—but after waiting 20 minutes with zero help, we tried to wrap them ourselves. Let’s just say it was… disastrous. Finally, someone showed up and told us we weren’t allowed to wrap the flowers ourselves (lol, of course). We had to “clock in” to help since nobody else had arrived. Once the employee finally wrapped the flowers, it still ended up looking pretty sloppy, honestly would’ve been better off wrapped ourselves. A simple floral pick-up ended up making us late for our dinner. Definitely not the seamless experience we were hoping for.

For a simple price match, cashier started asking that we have to show them price on flip app. My wife had that app installed on her phone, and I showed him that exactly same product listed cheaper on that app, but then this cashier started asking me that I should show him the actual flyer within that app and then browse for that particular product so he can match the price which is so irritating.

I’ve complained about this once last year and the manager said they will talk to her about this. I’m assuming they told her not to wear her name tag because nothing else has changed.
