Unfortunately, I have had a very bad experience with this story and their online shopping customer service. Over the past few months I have recieved produce that wasn’t in the condition and meat with, either an expired date or the expiry date being the same day I received the order. I leave notes every time for the shopper to double check the date before sending it to me and sometimes they do and sometimes they don’t. A few months ago when this happened, I called the customer service supervisor, she was very unapologetic and actually put the blame on me by telling me that I should look at the date of each item before the delivery man leaves. I told her that I try my best to do that but when I have an order of 20 to 40+ items, it’s difficult to do that. The call ended with her telling me that the expiry date was a misprint and that I should’ve known it was a misprint…how incredibly unreasonable is that to say?? I have shopped here for years and I spend anywhere from $700 to $1300 a month. I am a loyal customer…I just expect a little more courtesy from a place where a lot of my money is going to each month. I have talked to the 1-800 number about this and they have a very different tone and they’re understanding and remorseful when they hear that I’ve recieved an expired product but the staff at this particular store are rude and tragically unreasonable. Now, more recently, I recieved another package of expired meat and I sent an email telling them I don’t want a refund I just want this issue to be looked into and I didn’t hear back from them. This picture is a package of expired meat they gave me and did not reach out with an apology or anything. Be careful when shopping here and just expect to get very poor customer support.
