While eating, one of the staff came over and asked if it was an occasion. When we told her about the birthday she left and came back with colouring sheets and crayons then asked if the kids wanted to come behind the counter and make their own ice cream cone after they were done their meals. Sure enough, soon as they were done the meal they were invited to come behind the counter. Each kid received a free cone and we were given cups and spoons just in case also. It was the highlight of my son's day. The manager asked us after if everything went well. This was the best McDonald's experience I've ever had and it was totally unexpected. The restauraunt was also clean and we received all of our meals quickly.
