Extremely disappointing and poorly managed drive-thru experience.
My family ordered five burgers and three wraps. We were asked to pull into a waiting spot, which I declined due to prior bad experiences with that specific spot—it’s poorly designed, unsafe, and often requires getting out of the car or risking hitting the curb. I was then told the chicken would take seven minutes, which I agreed to without any issue.
Instead of preparing the order, a manager in a black shirt decided to argue with us for the next 10 minutes, claiming we were “holding the line” and “affecting sales.” There is no rule stating the drive-thru is only for food that takes less than a certain amount of time. Ironically, the manager wasted more time arguing than it would have taken to make the food—so if sales were affected, it was entirely due to her own poor judgment.
She then suggested parking in the main parking lot, conveniently ignoring the fact that this location requires a 5–7 minute detour around a one-way block with no direct access. This clearly shows a lack of basic situational awareness and planning.
To make matters worse, she refunded our order in cash without asking, even though we paid by credit card. Only after we refused did she process the refund correctly. This level of carelessness is unacceptable.
What really exposes how poorly this location is run: immediately afterward, we went to the McDonald’s at King George & 31st, where we received all our food in under 3 minutes, with no arguments and no demand to move the car. That location understands customer service. This one clearly does not.
This wasn’t about food timing—it was about ego, mismanagement, and a manager more interested in arguing than doing her job. Franchise owners should be embarrassed that this is how customers are treated. Until management changes, I would strongly recommend avoiding this location.

Went in today waited 40 MINUTES for just a coffee!!!! are they growing the espresso beans from the ground???? Isn’t mcdonald’s fast food? Aswell, all these employees are just chatting amongst themself rather than assisting customers. This environment is completely AWFUL and DISGUSTING! NOBODY wears gloves or hair nets, infact i seen an employee touch the trash then right after go to assemble a burger… seriously. You guys need to take more pride in customer satisfaction, I don’t recommend this location for ANYBODY.
