I got a regular hamburger. Its fine, probably the most mediocre burger I've had in a long time. The patty is quite bland. Appreciate the generous amounts of vegetables. Better option than McD with a larger burger as well.
They don't provide trays though so your food just keeps dripping onto the table. Had to wipe the table after I'm done out of courtesy, but would've preferred a tray to avoid having drippings onto the table. Still pretty clean tables so I gues staff keep them spotless for the next person. Pretty standard wait time for fast food. Lots of seating and no queues.

Hey it's the first time I went to South Surrey Five Guys with my friends who had great reviews about the burgers and fries at Five Guys South Surrey. We went on 22nd December around 7:20 pm really excited to try food there. But when the food came it was such a fiasco!!!!!
The fries were terrible... All burnt and black!
The burger bun was smelling stale!
We were so disappointed and would never come again to South Surrey Five Guys!
I am really disappointed with the staff who was making our order as he could see the fries all burnt and not in a good condition even then he never bothered about customer satisfaction and went ahead to plate it!!!!!
We had gone with great expectation but were so disappointed😞

We drive about 25 minutes to go to this location, (even though there is a Five Guys about 5 minutes from our home) because the food and service are better here. I had been telling my friends about how great the food is here for some time, and tonight we finally took them for dinner. We have been here many times, but this time the food was very disappointing. My burger was not as juicy or tasty, and it wasn't hot. The fries (which are usually really outstanding) were terrible because they were mostly just bits and pieces, like they were the bottom of the pile. And they were soggy and not hot like usually. When we left, my guest and I both noticed separately that another customer's fries were long and fresh, confirming that what we had been given were the old stale ends (like I said, just bits of short little pieces.) Very disappointing, especially since I had been telling them how great the fresh (not frozen) potatoes made such great fries.

Compared with before 2 years ago the quality went south.
The beef is different, the Peanut Oil is horrible.
The Fries came with so much salt, i throw them away. I couldn‘t eat it. The quality of the Fries itself was very poor. Five guys at least at this location has a massive problem.
I assume but cannot proof it that their suppliers changed and that they cut corners with their staff.
Very disappointed and I will never come back.
Five Guys was known to make a difference but like Tim Horton and others it is over its peak and the price is nor justified anymore. It is a sinking ship
