I waited over 30 minutes past the pickup time and the order still wasn’t ready. On top of that, their “special” cream chicken wasn’t special at all very disappointing. This was my first and last visit to Chawla. Better service and food quality are expected.

I also clearly stated that a refund was offered; however, the issue was the disrespectful tone, which is unacceptable. Customers are paying for food, not asking for charity, and basic respect is expected. Lastly, the food was not in a cold environment. The pictures were taken within 15 minutes of reaching home. If there is a visible issue with the gravy, dismissing it by blaming the temperature instead of acknowledging the problem does not help. With due respect to the owner, I had a very poor experience with this restaurant. This was my second time ordering the cream chicken, and both experiences were disappointing. First visit (Nov 13): I ordered the large cream chicken. While the taste was good, both my friend and I experienced stomach pain afterward. There was clearly something off with the chicken. Second visit (Dec 16): I decided to give it another chance because the flavor was good previously. Unfortunately, this time the gravy was unacceptable. As shown in the pictures, it was extremely oily and full of lumps, making it inedible. I raised this issue with the guy. A refund was offered, but the tone used was disrespectful, which is why I refused it. Overall, the food quality and customer service were both disappointing.
