  We were at the Sooke McDonald's tonight Around 9-9:15 pm for a simple drive through order . The worst and I mean worst service ever!!! Between the person the drive through who took about ten min to take a 2 meal order and having to repeat 4 times she I would like a large drink with no ice. Now I will say maybe he was new and training but then he should have been supported better! We get to the window to then have to say again a large root beer no ice , waited forever on the fries to which heard a young girl trying to get the person on fries to drop more fries . After that we go to drive away and our order is missing a fries and the other large fry was half full to which we stop and my husband goes in to hear a girl say oh he is here for his fries so they knew they shorted us . My husband said it right too many young kids and no management in charge . Two experiences now since we have moved out in Sooke with the drive through and less both then stellar . I would suggest to the owner maybe a better drive through speaker so they can hear you when you talk and ownership to how the restaurant is being run in the evening .i know this will gonna where but will be going to head office to make sure they know how this is being run.

  Waited 20 minutes inside for a black coffee today. Get it together! Drive thru here is preferenced above all else, almost like they don't want you to go inside.

  ordered a drink that was 3.50 and they reimbursed me with a drink that was 2.50 cuz their smoothie machine was “broken” terrible customer service

  Ive lived in sooke my hole life, the quality and service of this location has slowly declined for tye better part of 15 years now. Food quality is worse, soggy gross fries, missing ingredients in burgers. I actually had to walk in and show them the burger they just handed me as it was litterally dripping with grease and caused me to gag when I opened the box it came in that was also soaked in grease. The manager agreed that was unacceptable, then proceeded to laugh about it with her staff. Then there's the fact this place USED TO BE OPEN 24H an it made sense when it switched to just the drive threw being 24hours, well that didn't last long because for the last 5 years if your hungry after 10pm your eating gas station Ramen noodles or driving to langford for a significantly higher quality mcdonalds. Im pretty sure ive seen the entire staff turn over about 8 times. The current managers do not care about the quality of food and fulfilling a managers role, they care more about standing around on their phones and making jokes with their coworkers that they treat more like second family. The hole operation needs an overhaul.
