    Typical Canadian chipotle. First servings are minuscule, you always have to ask for more, and staff aren’t familiar with the ingredients in each order. For example, I asked for a salad and he skipped the lettuce, immediately started piling on rice. The food itself tasted ok, except for the guacamole that was missing the red onions and had massive chunks of hard avocado. Also, parking is a nightmare at this mini mall.

    I had such a great experience at the new Chipotle location that just opened near my mom’s house. I ordered dinner tonight while taking care of my sick baby, so I really needed something quick and easy. I actually made a mistake with my order, and the team was so kind and understanding. They handled it right away without any hesitation and truly took care of me. It made such a difference, especially on a stressful day. The customer service was amazing—everyone was so positive, patient, and genuinely cared about making my experience a good one. You can tell this team takes pride in what they do. So grateful to have this location nearby. I’ll definitely be coming back!

    Poor management overall. No one checked on our drinks, and I had to ask for a refill. The portions were small, though the food tasted okay. Most of our orders were either wrong or missing ingredients. My partner’s bowl was missing tomato salsa, which is their favorite, and it was a very simple bowl to prepare. Disappointing experience overall, especially since the staff did not seem attentive to basic standards.

    I was so excited to have a chipotle near me. Boy was I disappointed 😂. My guacamole had massive chunks of rock solid avocado. I’m not sure if the photo is able to convey it but they were essentially fossilized. I tried mashing them up but I was unable. I can’t even cut it with my metal fork. Considering you must pay for guac, I was quite sad. Besides the guac blasphemy, the rest of the bowl was also sub-par compared to prior visits to chipotle. The lettuce was limp, and the rice also came in massive dry chunks. Seems to be a theme here. The portion also seemed smaller than other times I have been to Chipotle (although I don’t have a measurement to prove this). At least the gentleman helping me was nice. I’m personally okay with spending $14 on a burrito bowl but this one here really broke my spirit.

    I visited Chipotle on March 10th at approximately 8:50 PM. I have to say the food itself tasted fantastic, however the service I received was extremely disappointing. The employee serving me appeared to have very little customer service training. If this person is an employee, I would strongly suggest additional training. If this was the owner, I would be concerned about the long term success of the business. I came in genuinely excited to try Chipotle for the first time. A friend of mine in the United States has always spoken very highly of it, mentioning large portions and friendly staff, and said I would not regret trying it. I know there has been a location in Victoria for some time, but I had heard mixed reviews and never made the effort to visit. Since this new location is within walking distance of my home, I decided it was finally time to give it a try. When I arrived, the restaurant itself looked great. It was clean, modern, and well kept, which made for a positive first impression. Unfortunately the experience went downhill from there. When entering, it was unclear where customers were supposed to line up, as no one seemed to know where the line started. When it was finally my turn to be served, the employee barely looked at me, spoke very quietly with a heavy accent, and mumbled most of the time. I honestly could not understand what she was saying. She also appeared to be in a very bad mood, and that negative attitude was clearly projected toward me. Since this was my first visit, I tried to ask a few questions about the menu, but I received short, unclear responses that did not help at all. I ended up choosing a wrap and was quickly rushed down the line while ingredients were thrown together very quickly. The portion also looked quite small. The price on the display appeared to be around $12, but after paying the total came to nearly $18, which was confusing and never explained. When I got home, I finished the meal in just a few bites. While the food did taste very good, I honestly had no idea what I was eating. It tasted somewhat like chicken but also a bit like beef, and no effort was made to explain the ingredients. With better service and a little effort from the staff, this could easily have been a 5 out of 5 experience. Unfortunately, because of the service I received, I would rate it closer to 2 out of 5. Based on other reviews I have seen, my experience does not seem to be an isolated one. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes improvements, but unfortunately after this experience I do not plan on returning.
