This whole no bag thing is absolutely ridiculous, McDonald's made 8 billion in profit last year and now they're going to start gauging it's customers 35 cents for bags. Boycott McDonald's 👎

*Door Dash support has sided with me and blocked This Location, also was told by a manager Employees 'Serve' the order in the system (to avoid high ticket times). That action tells Door Dash it's ready for pickup, most of the time the order WAS not ready for pickup (03-30-2026) ** UPDATE - It gets worse, When I get there the last 2 months they don't even start the food until I've asked about it! - Serious intervention is needed and I have reached out to Door Dash about this, Door Dash customers and Their Drivers deserve better!! (03-18-2026) I continue to be deeply frustrated and concerned by the treatment I receive as a delivery courier (primarily via DoorDash, previously Uber Eats) at this McDonald's location. As one of the few Indigenous drivers in the area working hard to provide reliable service, I have experienced what appears to be targeted and discriminatory behavior that other couriers do not face. Staff and managers have told me they prioritize in-store "real customers" over delivery orders, leading to prolonged waits, deliberate ignoring at the pickup counter, and avoidance of me personally whenever I enter the restaurant. This has been consistent across multiple visits. Additionally, there is clear selective enforcement regarding equipment: Staff do not ask other food couriers to show or use food/thermal bags, yet one manager (referred to as Carlito) has repeatedly become upset with me specifically for not having one. At the time—and still currently—Uber Eats does not require drivers to use insulated delivery bags (it is recommended for food safety but not mandatory). While some restaurants may prefer or request bags, the inconsistent application here—demanding it only from me and not from others—further contributes to the sense that I am being singled out. This pattern has forced me to block the location in the Uber Eats app entirely and, unfortunately, DoorDash offers no such option, leaving me with limited choices. I have also deleted my personal McDonald's app account to sever any further connection. McDonald's promotes values of inclusion, fairness, and community respect, yet the experiences at this location fall significantly short. Delivery partners deserve equitable treatment, prompt service, and professional courtesy regardless of background or appearance. I urge other people and food couriers—particularly from underrepresented or Native / Indigenous communities—to approach this store with caution and explore alternative pickup locations. Management and corporate oversight are urgently needed to correct these ongoing issues and ensure all customers and partners are treated with dignity and consistency. This review reflects my repeated, personal experiences over an extended period.
