I had a very disappointing experience at this McDonald’s. When we first went through the drive-thru, the employee taking the order, Francis, kept rushing us and didn’t seem to understand what we were saying. Because of the confusion and the pressure to order quickly, we decided to cancel our order.
At the first window, the manager, Jashanpreet, apologized for the situation and kindly offered to take our order again, which we appreciated. However, when we checked our food in the parking lot (thankfully before leaving), we realized that the order was wrong. We then had to go back through the drive-thru and wait in the long line again, which wasted even more of our time.
When I spoke with Jashanpreet again, she apologized once more and said we could still get the correct order. By that point, I was already very frustrated and disappointed with the whole experience, so I asked for a refund instead. She apologized again and even asked if we still wanted the burger which was already made, and I agreed. However, when she processed the refund, she only returned $12.80 out of the $13.53 we paid, even though we returned the food. Later she also said we could not get the burger because the refund had been issued.
Overall, the situation was confusing and frustrating, and it felt like our time and experience as customers were not valued. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a McDonald’s, and unfortunately it makes me hesitant to return or recommend this location to others. My advice to other customers is to double-check your order before leaving.
