  Over priced, by far the worst store in P.A. I bought a dagwood sandwich for lunch today because I could not find ANYTHING else and there's two pieces of meat with ¾ inch slabs of tomato.

  So Sad to Hear That Port Alberni is Loosing it's BUY-LOW Food's permanently. In May or June , the Buylow building will be Save on foods new name and there renovating . This really is disgusting for port alberni. We don't need another save on foods. . Update***. Just found out from head office that the Butcher shop will be discontinued, because Jim Pattinson Food group has there own meat factory in Vancouver where they process everything and package it ,then send it out to all there Save on foods locations. Apparently to Save money. Also the Former Buy-Low Foods in port alberni bc. Will have all new save on foods uniforms. And color scheme through out the whole store. Very upsetting and sad. The whole reason people shop there is because of the difference Buylow offers to it's valued loyal customers, unlike save on foods. I've talked to hundreds of people in town and they won't shop there. If it's changed . We need variety in port. Not two of the same. Quality Foods. Is next to change into a save on foods as well.

  Went in. Couldn't find the item i was looking for. I asked an employee. She was great. Took me to the item and kept my walking speed!! Normally they walk so fast that I almost have to run to keep up. While paying the employee kept the conversation going and I left with a giggle and a smile.

  Decent selection of groceries, with some good deals/specials. Excellent bakery. Busy parking lot/area.
