    Had a really bad experience today at Subway. The avocado in my sandwich was clearly not fresh and tasted off. Shortly after eating, I started vomiting and had stomach pain. This is not acceptable for a food place. Please take food freshness and hygiene seriously. I won’t be coming back to this location.

    I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the extremely unprofessional and insulting behavior I experienced from two staff members (two South Asian females) at your New Westminster Station (Store #46917 ) branch today. From the beginning, the interaction was unpleasant. The staff member handling the bread informed me that flatbread was unavailable in a very blunt and dismissive manner. However, the situation escalated significantly at the counter. Although I clearly requested a "Set, please" at the start of my order, the cashier ignored this and charged me for individual items. When I pointed this out, instead of correcting it to a combo price, she simply added the items separately without explanation, resulting in a higher total than the standard combo price. When I inquired about the price difference, the staff member responded with a condescending tone, saying, "It’s only a $0.94 difference. Are you really trying to fight with me over 94 cents?" To make matters worse, when I explained that I had asked for a "set" from the start, she ridiculed my choice of words, stating, "Nobody uses the word 'Set' here. You should have said 'Combo'." If there was any confusion regarding the term "Set," a professional would have politely clarified, "Do you mean a combo?" rather than ignoring the request and later lecturing the customer. It is appalling that a staff member would prioritize mocking a customer's terminology over providing basic service. I am not someone who typically complains about minor mistakes. However, the blatant rudeness and insulting attitude of these employees were beyond the pale. I had to strongly demand a full refund and insist on being charged the correct combo price. It was only after my repeated protests that they grudgingly processed the refund and re-charged me the correct amount. A customer should never have to fight this hard to be treated with basic decency and to pay a fair price. I am currently traveling, and this experience has completely soured my day and my trip. Such blatant disrespect is unacceptable. I strongly urge management to take immediate disciplinary action and retrain these individuals to ensure no other customers or travelers are subjected to this kind of treatment. I look forward to hearing how you intend to address this matter. I have also filed a formal complaint with the corporate office regarding this issue.

    I came in around 12pm today. Staff was rude. No smiling . Seem like she doesn't want to serve customers. Food was good but the staff attitude wasn't the best.
