- MSMidnight SnackOct 13, 20251.0BEWARE of Subway's scammy practices. This isn't about this particular store, but Subway has no other contact than through stores, so here it is: I ordered online for pick up from this store. My order went through and my card was charged. The "Ready by" was set for 1:35PM. I went to the store and was told they didn't receive my order. I came back home and checked on my laptop. The "Ready by" now was for 1:50 PM. I realized that the order was constantly being pushed back every 5 minutes, it would change. It is now 2 hours since my order and the Ready By keeps changing, which means there's something wrong with my order. Well, that wouldn't be that bad (because mistakes happen), but when I tried to contact Subway to get a refund, I realized there's no way to contact them except through individual stores. There is no 800 number or anything like that. The only way is through the "Chat with us" which gives you a bot and you go through some steps. The bot then tells you someone might contact you through email. Email? So now, if I'm lucky, I will have to go back and forth through email? This isn't tons of money, but I am not giving my hard-earned money to a corporation with scammy practices. You're in customer service. Act like you're in customer service.
