  Don't go to this store thinking you can get help at the deli counter when the only person working there is on a break. After standing there a long time, ringing the little bell, I had to go to customer service twice asking for someone to help. Even asked for the manager and that was a waste of time. Basically I was told -tough luck - no one there. So I went to Thriftys...

  I was in recently to return a dog food bowl that I bought from here that was defective. It had a gross film on it after washing it with dishsoap, I tried getting off in the dishwasher AFTER and still unusable. The girl with glasses that works on the till was super rude, she kept repeating herself saying thats what happens when you put the bowl in dishwasher after I told her I tried that after in an attempt to clean off the film. She cant listen nor read. She said I was over a month past to return it. I bought it on Feb 17th and I came on March 13. I have 2 weeks after purchase date which would have only less then a week past due date to return. Any other establishment would have atleast exchanged it when its a faulty product. I wont be shopping here anymore due this experience and I was a regular customer.

  Save On Foods at Island Highway, I'm very new to the island and BC in general, wanted to make this review for one person who made my experience in a grocery store memorable and absolutely easy transition I'm not very sociable Michelle M a cashier what a fantastic personality helpful good information made me feel very comfortable I will definitely be back.
