I was out with three of my friends and one of them was gonna order an alcoholic drink and he didn’t realize that his ID had expired. When the waiter told him his ID was expired, he had obliged and said ok. After that the waiter acted almost careless of our table, did not check in or asked if we needed a refill or anything of that matter until the end of the evening. We all felt uncomfortable and weird about the situation, which is unfortunate because we all like dining at ojs but after this experience idk if we want to anytime soon.

I ordered Fish'n chips, the days special. I thought Nanaimo would have some nice fresh fish, but the meal was plain and the worst part was I felt sick for the rest of the day. Next time I'm in Nanaimo I'll be looking for somewhere else to have lunch.
