  Bought a log cake yesterday for valentine's day. I'm wondering if they are made now with zero sugar, zero fat, zero chocolate and zero flavour? Because this cake, was like eatting snow. There was no flavour. I have never had an issue with DQ cakes. And for $30??? Seriously. And of course no receipt, because why would you when DQ is so reliable? Ugh, such a disappointment. I'll never buy a log cake again if this is how they are being made. Even a child with a sweet tooth would be upset. -- A previous visit at this location, my spouse got us each a blizzard. I always get oreo. I took a bite and noticed the texture was off. Then the next I realized the flavour was different too. I asked if he got a mixed flavour, he said no. They added cheesecake? I cannot stand mixing fruit with chocolate. 2 bites was enough for me to throw it in the garbage.

  I received a reese mcflurry from this establishment on January 29th at exactly 7:43PM - and the young woman that made it for me is amazing and deserves an incentive. I showed her a photo of me and my dog at neck point and she was so nice she complimented his black fur. As the captain of the VIU basketball team it is my responsibility to ensure the satiation of my team mates, and upon further review by the oversight department, we will absolutely stop by and all celebrate our slam dunk with a round of reese mcflurries on me. I can’t believe Avril Lavinge made me a real ice cream treat made with real whole milk for growing bones. Stay in church, stay safe, stay perfect, stay safe online contrary to what health clinicians instruct you, and please, Give the exact employee that graciously served me an incentive - Certainly there is a gift card program for outstanding service.

  Mika Molly and Avery Mika was the front and server outstanding customer service, excellent communication skills and on point with modifying our dessert she went above and beyond I can’t express enough this girls skills 10 out of 10 straight across. I highly recommend the location.

  Haven't been in years. 5 minutes away. Thought ok I will stop there. Order was slow but ok I was the 2nd car. 1:49 in the afternoon. Got my order but I just don't understand on my lunch hour. Juicy burger and give one napkin. Really. I ended up not eating it because in work dress clothes trying to eat in my Car would not work with one napkin. Garbage it went. Will not go back. How cheap are you.

  I ordered a custom Dairy Queen cake 5 days in advance for my nephew’s 15th birthday and even called the store ahead of time to confirm the design. This was not a rush order. When I picked it up, the cake was honestly shocking. The writing was barely legible, the design was extremely messy, and the image was completely disproportionate despite me providing a reference photo. The top border was sloppy, and overall the cake looked rushed and careless. It was embarrassing to bring to a birthday party. I’ve ordered Dairy Queen cakes for years and never had issues at other locations. Unfortunately, this Nanaimo location has had repeated quality problems, and this experience was by far the worst. Very disappointing.
