    Today, their staff experienced a challenging morning, particularly when the breakfast service transitioned to lunch. Consequently, breakfast was discontinued. There were several dine-in customers and drive-through customers who had placed orders and were informed that their orders were not being fulfilled, despite having already paid for their meals. Fortunately, I was waiting for lunch, and my order was prepared. However, I witnessed an incident where my order was forgotten, and fries were given to the drive thru orders. Upon approaching the staff, they promptly retrieved my fries. However, when I inquired about my milk shake, they informed me that their milk shake machine was malfunctioning. I am certain that they were aware of this issue approximately 20 minutes earlier, when I was waiting. I requested a refund, but the individual who appeared to be a supervisor proceeded to the cash register and began processing the order of approximately six young men who had placed large orders. The manager attempted to justify this action, but I decided to leave the establishment at that point, as the inconvenience was not worth the hassle. Regrettably, the management and ownership of this McDonald’s establishment appear to be indifferent to the needs of their customers. Many patrons have expressed their intention to refrain from returning, and it is unlikely that they will do so, as it is the sole McDonald’s establishment in town. Furthermore, it is concerning how the management and ownership have placed their employees in this predicament. It is evident that the training provided is not up to the standard that Corporate McDonald’s would expect. In essence, the management and ownership of this location have inadvertently set their employees up for failure and have offered no support. These are the disappointing aspects of my visit.

    Definitely the worst McDonald's I've been to in BC. Always understaffed, ice cream machine ALWAYS "broken". Never been in the drive thru for under 10 mins, no matter deserted the place is. They're extremely lucky they're the only McDonald's within 20 min drive either way. Genuinely awful management

    We went on holiday, stopped (first time in 15 years) at McDonalds drive through. (November 7th, 2025 around 3:00pm) Ordered two McChicken combos with drinks , Poutine and a pie, iced tea drink Person at drive thru on top of being extremely rude couldn’t figure out what a McChicken combo was and was angry at me for it?? English was not a challenge, not even an accent and I don’t speak with one. Sorted it out, saw on screen order was entered as requested. (After 5 minutes) What we actually got… totally different. Got 3 McChicken sandwiches, no fries and no drinks, told pick up window person. Rudely requested to see receipt. Her tune quickly changed when I said forget it, refund the money we will go elsewhere. She got bags back to inspect. Filled order and gave back to us. So, now we have the 2 combos, two drinks but missing iced tea and they tool back the poutine and pie. I pointed out they removed part of the order. Snotty came back, almost threw the bag at us… Left there and order was STILL messed up. They didn’t give iced tea. Just the two soft drinks which they also messed up. One iced tea and one pop. (Ended up short one pop) 3:00 pm in the afternoon, we were the only ones in line (shocker there) and the whole process took 20 minutes start to finish. Well, here’s to another 15 plus years absence from McDonalds… definitely won’t be going back again. When you hire people, I would suggest training them to understand customer service is important. Be polite to customers. Also, hire people with better screening re: aptitude for the fast food industry. Also, promote skilled supervisors with proper training. Zero leadership there to lead by example and train effectively. Lastly, it should be obvious during hiring process, if candidate is suited for the job. Perhaps provide better training for recruiters / HR.

    Terrible customer service and rude staff. Terrible quality of food and long wait times. I said thank you when food was past out the window and the male worker turned around, did not respond or acknowledge me. It wasn't just bad customer service it was lack of respect. It was also difficult due to language barrier to understand the workers. Had to repeat my order several times. Not worth spending your money here.

    I wouldnt even give this place 1 star, but didnt have a choice. The drive thru girl was absolutely rude, she gave us our order which was missing a burger and ordered a kids meal and didn't put it in a kids meal box threw everything in one bag. Then she said give me money, we paid her and she walked away we had to ask for our drinks she gave us our drinks and turned her back and walked away again, when we were asking her for napkins, ketchup and missing burger. On top of that, the yogurt for the kids meal was hot and chunky. Absolutely disgusting and shitty service. I will NOT be going back to that location! What happened to customer service with some consideration that ppl pay alot of money to eat out and without the customers, there wouldnt be a restaurant! At least serve food that u would eat!!!
