- JBJames BarthJan 21, 20261.0Apparently in my 64.85 years on this planet for a large portion of it I’ve been putting shopping baskets away incorrectly. At Quality  Foods Courtenay “we” don’t place said basket at the near end of the conveyor line as it is a trip hazard. The “PROPER” method of correcting the customers misguided attempts to put the basket away and “TEACH” the customer of the “PROPER” methods is to walk by the customer and slap the basket down at the other end of the lane while loudly exclaiming “ we don’t like them there we it them here”. Note the word “we”. My comment was forceful but no sweary words. “ I’ll decide where I’ll put the basket AND there are better ways to talk to the customer. Maybe it’s just my sensitivity  about my approaching being a senior citizen? Perhaps there’s a pheromone in grey hair that causes the younger folk to treat seniors in a less then acceptable manner? 21 Jan 2026 4pm give or take

- GFGary FirlotteNov 19, 20251.0Extremely overpriced food items and online.The advertiser is open at 7 AM.Travel there in a wheelchair only to find out on the door except they don't open to late.That is pathetic false advertising and they should not be allowed to do that, for now on, I'll be going elsewhere.I'll hire the comic valley wheelchair band to go to a place that opens on time and don't post false hours and have reasonable prices
