    Stay away. They make horrible subs, and I literally went there, waited in line for 10 mins to hear they have no bread that day. Cant even make this up.

    Attention OWNER and Supervisors Subway at Vedder rd / promontory rd. Unfortunately, for the past eight days, your establishment has failed to provide a supervisor on the phone, staff refuse to take your customers names and numbers to have a supervisor or manager reach out. They tell you to call back the next day and when you call back, you are told there’s no supervisor available, to call back and it’s repeat problem. Doesn’t matter what time of day we called. Here is what my business wants to make sure you understand and bring to your attention as the owner. Your employees are charging tax on gift cards, which is prohibited under legislation. Our business has wasted lots of time trying to contact you so that we can rectify this issue. Out of professional business to business courtesy, your staff should have called an owner or supervisor by now to report the issue! Our time is worth way more than your employees time! Due to the negligence and unpreparedness of your staff, we are now gonna be asking the RCMP to conduct a tax fraud investigation against this company as we have two receipts here that clearly prove we were wrongfully charged tax on 2 different gift card purchases. Your establishment/staff are purposely avoiding dealing with it and leaves us to believe someone is purposely engaging in CRA fraud with money laundering. FYI, A gift card is to be considered a “deposit towards future purchases at your Subway locations” Specifically, the law states you cannot charge taxes as a business offering gift cards as you are not selling goods or services at the time of purchase. Please be advised you have an internal issue with your employees, to the point that one of them just hung up on me at 6:40 PM as I demanded she take down my name and phone number and have the owner or supervisor call me immediately. This is the 6th staff member involved with this cover up and ultimately acting shady! Due to having 6 different employees behave this way on different phone calls on different days and different times, I am now to believe that your location is deliberately frauding our community. This report will be sent to the CRA as well. It’s funny how your staff start out speaking English just fine and then the hard Indian accent kicks in and gets to the point they no longer speak english pretending they can’t understand you when you start telling them that there’s a problem and what they’re doing is a wrongful tax charge. Your employee who provided the gift card was called out on the spot at the time of charge for the gift card tax which was not even applied to the total amount on the card total, meaning you took extra tax money wrongly. The gentleman who did the transaction repeatedly debated with our employee that this is the subways owners directions to charge tax on gift cards. With that being said, you’re literally pocketing the money illegally or your staff got some type of heist going on. I sure hope you terminate all the staff involved with this scam especially the unavailable supervisors and if this owner is behind this, shame on you. We’re gonna make an attempt to contact Subway head office in America starting next week with our legal team. Consider yourselves lucky we are not using our business profile name in this review as it would be very difficult for you to retain any business in our city. DO BETTER! Lack of English or immigration status is not a valid reason to break the law and think it’s ok to hang up the phone on a legitimate complaint. It’s the avoidance, is why we feel it is now criminal and why we are proceeding with actions and reporting this location. Good luck , hanging up is only temporary folks… we won’t be silenced and now we will be seeking compensation
