This is my third time. Going to Montana's in Chilliwack. The door staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean, that is about the only positive to all three expirences. The first time they forgot to enter our food order so it took an incredibly long time for 3 appys. After they did not adjust the bill or apologize for forgetting us. There is nothing I hate more then a server that doesn't take ownership of their mistake. The second time was fine, the young man was a good server and polite.Tonight we took my parents to rib night, the service was second rate the food and beverages took way to long to come out and they ran out of ribs, this was completely unacceptable. My suggestion is if you was a good meal where you wont leave disappointed, go somewhere else.

Investors / Owners,
This was my first and last visit to this restaurant.
The service we received from Hanna was extremely disappointing. It took 12 minutes to receive a Pepsi refill, and nearly 35 minutes into our visit before she checked on our table. At that point I mentioned the ribs we were served were hard, dry, and clearly overcooked (as shown in the photo). There was no apology and no attempt to address the issue professionally.
When I requested a replacement, I was told Montana’s does not serve ribs that “fall off the bone.” The replacement plate was significantly smaller than the original portion, and when I asked for additional ribs to match what we had ordered, they were never brought.
In total, it took 90 minutes to receive three side orders of “all-you-can-eat” ribs, which arrived cold and overcooked. With three servers and only four tables in the restaurant, including ours, the level of service was unacceptable.
Chilliwack has already seen many long-standing restaurants close in recent years — including Townhall Chilliwack, Mandarin Garden Buffet, iPho Fine Vietnamese Cuisine, Younie’s Family Restaurant, Rendezvous Restaurant, and Homer restaurant
It was also disappointing that only one napkin was provided, no container for bones was offered, and the table was never cleared during our visit.
If the owners or management wish to review the situation, please check the security cameras between 2:15 PM and 4:00 PM on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, where you will see a woman in green and a man in a Vancouver Canucks sweater seated together.
This experience was deeply disappointing and unacceptable.
I've been to the Chilliwack location several times I don't know why I keep giving them a chance to redeem them selves any how I've experienced cold food ..wrong food waiting for more than an hour for the food to arrive severely over cooked steak baked potato with black spots on them was told it was normal also last time I was there we had 6 in our party and the food showed up at separate times like a I got mine and a few got them at least a half hour to 40 mins later so very unorganized I blame the management so what I was Wondering if the manager has been changed?? I've been to many other Montana's and never had an issue's but it seems the Chilliwack location is the worst I've ever experienced and what's worse is the male manager that came to our table was RUDE.. like it was our fault that the food was a fail .give me a break he should of comp'd all of it but not him we paid the full bill every time .Crazy

This evening, me and my fiancé had dinner here we purchased the all you can eat ribs special, it was not worth the price $32, and 99 cents each.
They didn't let us share, and our waitress pretty much forced the special on us and did not allow my fiance to choose what she wanted or even let he look through the menu.
When you ask for another serving ribs, they only bring you up 3 ribs when according to management themselves they're supposed to bring you 4.
I myself, ordered 3 subsequent orders of ribs, and I only got 3 ribs each time I asked for another surving.
When you first order the meal you get a whole rack and then you only get 3 after that for every subsequent order ribs.
For $32.99 the price is not worth it the waitress's demeanor was very cold she only seemed to be happy once my fiancé paid for dinner.
During our I spoke to management, and they said, I was supposed to get 4 ribs as a subsequet (refill as they call it) but still only got 3 every time I went for more ribs.
We definitely won't be ordering the all you can eat again.
Every time before this service has been wonderful until we were forced to get the special.

We visited yesterday (Sunday around lunchtime). The food was great, although it was a bit cold but that wasn’t a big issue. Our server Sophia was very nice and attentive. The host who seated us was also very friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. She was clearly doing her job well. What was very disappointing was the manager’s behavior. We were seated near the front and could clearly see and hear how she was speaking to her staff. Her tone was intimidating and harsh. From what we overheard, she mentioned she is the General Manager. She was openly blaming the host for bad reviews, saying she wasn’t doing her job properly even though from what we saw, the host was doing everything right. When I checked the reviews here, most complaints are actually about cold food and long wait times not the host. I have also seen other comments mentioning concerns about her behavior toward staff, and after witnessing it myself, I understand why. If there are performance issues, they should be addressed privately, not in front of customers. It was uncomfortable to witness and created a negative atmosphere in the restaurant. A manager should motivate and support their team, not put them down publicly. It’s sad because the front-line staff were kind and professional. They deserve better leadership. I hope ownership or head office looks into this situation.
