  I was shopping at the Burnaby Edmonds location yesterday afternoon and had an uncomfortable experience at checkout. The cashier, Mehek, was speaking in another language with the employee at customer service, and it felt like I was interrupting their conversation when I went up to Mehek's till. This isn’t the first time I’ve noticed this with this particular cashier when I visit on weekends. As a customer, it can feel a bit unwelcoming when staff are having side conversations (in a diff language). I thought it was worth mentioning so management is aware.

  Unfortunately, my experience with Taranpreet wasn’t very positive this past sat evening. When asking questions, she often came across as condescending and made me feel like I was being treated as if my questions were stupid. She didn’t seem very approachable, and this happened more than once. Customer service should feel welcoming, and this interaction didn’t reflect that.

  My wife and I bought some groceries at the Edmonds St. store tonight. We want to thank the check out cashier Taran Preet, whose name was on the receipt. Taran was friendly and helpful. We appreciate her going the extra mile, making our experience at Price Mart a pleasant one.

  Went there to buy a muffin and coffee as usual before work but saw something so disturbing that I’m not going back there anymore. One of the employees named Somayeh (according to her name tag) was putting all the baked goods in the display. In the middle of while doing it, I noticed she doesn’t have any gloves on while handling ready to eat items. What made me disgusted was that she scratched her armpit by putting her hand inside her t-shirt and then continued putting away the same ready to go food again. This is unacceptable.

  Sorry, but I feel I need to defend Linnea if the last two reviews are about her. I live upstairs and am in the store about four times a week. I consistently find her cheerful, helpful, and welcoming. My kids absolutely love her — she is always so kind and patient with them. I’m honestly surprised to read these reviews if they’re referring to the same person (Linnea with the curly hair), as our experiences have always been very positive.
