I was in the bakery and saw some apple pie sitting on the heating racks. I asked if they were freshly baked. The lady replied yes, once I got home I realized the pie was cold and the pastry was not flaky it tasted like it was a couple days old. I called them right away and was told that the pies come in half bake and frozen they just heat them up for 15 to 20 minutes and then they put a label saying freshly baked it should say freshly reheat it. We have no idea when it was baked.

I was standing at the deli counter at 915 .. store closes at 10. The employee looked at me and said we’re closed and turn the deli lights off and walked away.

I went to buy chicken breast this morning. There was a small rat running around inside the store. Please check and take care of it.

Bought a pack of 4 blueberry muffin, really good. And found a Hardbite chip with a flavour of avocado and lime, first time to try this flavour, surprised that it was really good taste.

This Save-On-Foods is a solid neighborhood grocery option with a wide selection of fresh produce, meats, and bakery items. The store is clean and well-organized, and the attached pharmacy makes it convenient for picking up prescriptions while shopping. Staff are usually friendly and helpful, and the flyer deals can bring good value if you shop smart. On the downside, regular prices are higher than discount chains, and the parking lot can get hectic during peak hours. It’s not the cheapest place, but it’s reliable and convenient if you’re in the Market Crossing area.
