I will refuse to give Save On Foods more than one star I believe that they are greedy ,further more there are not many alternatives to buy,(SAVE ON WHAT? MR.PETERSON?) What a shame as a local owned business to be the most expensive on the Province. We need more competition ! taking advantage of the people Specially in Burnaby High gate. Steveston village and i am sure might be many others . SUPERSTORE I GO AND IT IS THE BEST

This store will no longer price match unless it's a store on their "approved" list. This list is not available publicly, I had to ask to see it. Pic attached. They won't even price match other Western Family products from Western Family stores if the store isn't on this list. This is the ONLY store in the area (and frankly the only Save-On-Foods I've ever heard of) that does this. This is a ridiculously cheap move, especially during this time of year, especially during a recession when everyone is struggling with grocery prices, and ESPECIALLY when you are already one of the most expensive grocery stores in the neighbourhood. The staff are nice here, but it's too easy to go to literally any other Save On (there are several within driving distance) and get their advertised price matching policy without a quibble. Half of the marketing Save On does is advertising their price matching program. Nickel and diming your customer base with a hidden list of "approved" price matching is disgusting. And the worst part is that your lovely checkout staff are the ones taking the brunt of people's frustration when they find out at the checkout that you won't honour your own advertised policy. Honestly, if you keep this ridiculous policy, no one should shop at Save On. It's sneaky and greedy and complete nonsense.

few months ago when i was shopping at the store a tall Indian security guard in the red hijab almost jumped on me blouse i assume i was walking in the store faster than other people. upon of the conversation with the store manager he reassured me that the store is safe place to go buy groceries and that was an isolated incident. Today however, at midday when i was shopping for a protein bar the other security guy who is shorter and older came pretty close and was sterling at which protein bar I am going to pick. So my question to the management renames the same, IS IT SAFE TO SHOP AT EDMONDS SAFE ON or one day I'm going to be physically assault by a guard? The management must make some changes or the next such incident is going to be filed at the police station across the road immoderately, and/or the police will be called over right at the spot. Your store is the only food store around here, so you have to fix it or move out of the area.
