  This Dairy Queen is a convenient stop while in the Kensington area of North Burnaby. It has the full DQ menu and has a lot of ice cream cakes in the display cooler. I randomly pop in for a cold treat. Limited seating but has a washroom.

  Every time I order on Uber eats. Well 3 times so far.. in a row. ( yes I never learn ) they have forgotten cheesecake when I put reese blizzard add cheesecake. I get 2 and neither ever has cheesecake . I dont understand why or how come its so consistent that they won't add my cheesecake.

  I picked up a birthday log cake from DQ and was very disappointed with both the quality and service. I asked for writing on the cake, and then requested additional writing on the other side. During these two interactions, the cake was handled behind the counter more than once. When it was returned, the icing was visibly damaged. The top was squished, one of the decorative dollops had been pressed off to the side, and part of the edge was missing. This did not look like minor imperfections, but the result of careless handling. No one acknowledged the condition before handing it over. There was no indication that anything was wrong. I only saw the full extent once I got to the car after paying, I think the side where the icing was falling/scraped off was turned away from me so I didn’t notice until later. Regardless, this should not have been given to a customer in that condition. For a birthday cake, presentation matters. This reflects poor quality control. Customer service was also lacking. No greeting, minimal communication, and staff walked away immediately after handing over the cake both times with no acknowledgment. Overall, a frustrating experience. Even if the customer service sucks, I expected better care and accountability when it comes to food quality.
