I was excited to visit as I saw good reviews. It was very underwhelming! I had a reservation but there were no tables available. Once seated we were told that the server would be a little while as there was a large group she was attending to. That's okay and I understand. So it took quite a while and they didn't even provide us drinks to surpass the time or quench our thirst. Once she arrived, we made our order and I decided to get the broiled oysters as an appetizer. They were $22. It was a special night out. They were totally overcooked and dried out and were horrible. They never should have left the kitchen and the server never should have served us. As it took so long to get them I didn't really make a stink over it but I should have. My wife gets embarrassed. My fish and chips were slender little pieces of cod with a thick batter to make them look large. Not a high-end dining experience! The rest of the food was okay. My wife's fried shrimp were not like a fine dining but something you get at Denny's. So we passed on dessert. We didn't feel that it would be of any higher caliber. I won't go back!

Made reservations this evening for dinner and was looking forward to listening to jazz music as advertised on their website. This was our SECOND attempt. Previously we were there for dinner. Empty tables in the dining room but the waitress would not seat our party of four.?? Tonight there was no music. Decided to stay anyway. Three of the items we ordered were not available. We’re told they needed to change to a new menu. Our waitress was trying to be accommodating but it took forever to get our food. When we finally got the food, it was cool, not hot. After two tries, I think we will pass in the future.

Food is great. There is a wait on the specialty nights. Jazz and blues play for your enjoyment over the system. Sunsets are beautiful from the patio.

We like going to The Hills. Food and service was good only thing was that it did take at least 30 minutes to get our food and it wasn't because of it being busy since altogether it was about 2-3 tables total inside and out.

Well, its not a "gastropub" so let's clear that up right off the top. Its a short order cook restaurant. There is no "chef." There are no fresh, locally sourced ingredients. There is no extensive beer or wine list...you know all the things that make a gastropub a gastropub. The food is mostly fried from frozen...like a fast food place but at a golf course. I recently found out that its run by the same group who cuts a baked potato in half, stands it on end, calls it a "potato volcano", and charges more for it over at Juliannas. If you need a bite to eat while at the golf course, the Hills is serviceable but it is absolutely NOT a gastropub and it absolutely does NOT have gastropub quality food.
