Waitstaff were friendly and helpful but the largest screen in the place was set to Fox News playing footage of a woman being killed by ICE agents over and over, while newscasters mocked the situation. It was very upsetting and ruined our night very quickly. Staff changed the channel when we let them know this was upsetting. Maybe screens can be off if no one is watching sports? …the tostadas were stale, maybe I could’ve gotten past that if I didn’t have to watch feds attacking people while eating.

Takos & Beer was a fun time. Solid tacos, a good beer selection, and very friendly staff/owner. They did a good job making the space their own and after a few minute I didn't think it was ever an Arby's. 10/10 gator tacos
- SGSharron GrzybowskiDec 12, 20255.0oh my gawds ❗ Okay, I realize that's not enough - so, let me expand. We started with Chorizo Cheese & Bean Dip - which was good. Their chips were FANTASTIC, fried and salted perfectly. Seriously, PERFECTLY salted (I'm one that usually adds salt) I ordered the Polla Asado Tako, without aioli. I choose the verde salsa, and DANG that was good. Bite one, I'm pretty sure my eyes rolled back in my head. I didn't miss the aioli one single bit. (for some reason, restaurants use mayonnaise in their aioli, instead of the traditional oil) The hubs ordered 2 of their Signature Takos - 1500BC and one other, but I can't remember which. He LOVED his choices, too. The waitress was friendly and helpful - I can't eat eggs, so had some menu questions. She didn't have ingredients memorized, so had to ask the chef on a couple of different items for me (sadly for her, I didn't ask all the questions at once - and she didn't seem to get impatient, but I found I had to change my mind after she checked on items). The ONLY downside of loving these dishes so much is that we have a tendency to order the same thing the next time we go. I'll try hard to venture out and try something new, but no guarantees. Good beer options, Coke products - I ordered a beer and the hubs a soda. I'd suggest the beer could have been a little colder (but in my opinion, very few places serve an appropriately chilled draft beer). Clean, both booth and tables are available The food is fresh and delicious We didn't visit the restroom, so nothing to report on that. Plenty of parking, on 4th Avenue One of the comments I read is that the "food is bussin", I'm going to say that says it best. I highly recommend you go! Thank you for reading my review.
