But my husband just came home with Valentines Day flowers he picked up not 1 hr ago and I can’t believe how much of the two bouquets had moldy and rotten flowers in them. I know he paid $40 for the dozen roses that I had to toss all of the baby’s breath from and 2 roses from, and then the other bouquet (no idea what he paid for that) had several rotten flowers as well. I know Valentines Day is a big floral holiday but can’t you all check your flowers a little better???!! These clearly had been sitting long enough that they should’ve at least been taken behind the counter and recycled for other arrangements to save what was left of them that were still good. Shame on you for taking advantage of folks shopping for their loved ones. We all know stores already upcharge for flowers on popular floral holidays, but then to sell crushed, rotting and moldy ones on top of that is just obnoxious.
