Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
La comida es muy buena, siempre y cuando te valga gorro el trato. Los chicos hablan en español entre ellos pero no con clientes, quiero creer que por políticas de empresa, no pasa nada yo hablo inglés... pero que pasa con aquellos que no??

The line for the drive through continues to be confusing. The wait is long and the food was not good. We won't go back.

Food quality was perfect
We both had patty melt sandwich with onion rings
We both had milkshakes
The soda dispenser was not working but we always get milkshakes so that was no worry

I recently moved here from out of state and decided to give Whataburger a try. I wasn’t expecting anything life-changing, just a decent fast food burger. Unfortunately, even that felt like too much to ask.
The inside of the building was not well maintained. I noticed bugs, which immediately killed my appetite. The restroom facilities were also dirty and clearly not being checked regularly. Cleanliness should be standard, and it just wasn’t there.
The food itself was overly greasy and poorly put together. My burger was falling apart before I could even take a proper bite. The bun was soggy, everything was sliding around, and it just felt sloppy. On top of that, every time I’ve gone in, they’ve messed up my order. I’ve had to send food back multiple times because something was missing or made wrong. That gets old fast.
At this point, I’d rather go to In-N-Out Burger. In my experience, their food tastes fresher, is put together properly, and they consistently get orders right. I also respect how In-N-Out incorporates Christianity into their brand in a quiet but intentional way. Overall, it’s just a better experience and better food.
