Restaurant is dirty and definitely doesn't look like most Smashburgers, the food was absolutely horrible and the staff is rude and definitely doesn't care 🤮🤮👎👎

Went in to eat but my lady and I had to use the restrooms first. I noticed there was a line at the register so asked the one green hair lady in the kitchen what the codes were for the restroom doors. She rudely pointed at the employee who was busy and said “she’ll help you” then walked away. Then the employee at the register, who was busy, asked what she can help us with and instead of just giving us the numbers she then said “one minute”. Because of the urgency we ended up leaving and will never eat there.

We usually enjoy this Smashburger, but our most recent visit was a disaster. We ordered a double American and a double Truffle burger; the cook (who was also the manager) forgot the second patty on both.
Worse, the kids' Mac and Cheese arrived as a burnt, solid clump of cheese. When I asked to swap the inedible Mac for a simple burger patty, the manager charged me for an entirely new meal. When I pointed out the error, she was dismissive, stating it’s 'policy' to charge if a guest simply doesn't like something. There is a big difference between 'not liking' a dish and being served burnt food.
Paying $52 for missing ingredients, burnt kids' food, and rude service is unacceptable. We’ll be headed to Culver’s from now on for better quality and actual hospitality.

I used to love Smashburger. That’s why we went—total craving for those smashed burgers. But man, what a letdown.
Walked in back entrance: guy huddled in the corner, clearly shit himself. No help, place dead empty—just us, one other customer, and that stench.
Ordered two macaroni smashburgers, large sodas, shared fry—$41.50. Gave ‘em a fifty. Cashier eyes it like fake money, feels it, runs to manager. “Won’t take it.” Marker test proves real—still nope. “Not policy, manager just said no.” Felt like a crook over legit cash. Had nothing smaller, so I bailed.
Next door at Portillo’s: handed the same $50 to the lady. She checks it quick with a pen, smiles, says “Thank you,” and boom—burgers, fries/onion rings, drinks for $21. Half the price, zero drama.
Smashburger? Lost me forever. Portillo’s wins.

The fries were ok but the burger was to salty and super greasy, very disappointing.
I will never eat here again
