It’s been many MANY years since being here and this place is just as amazing as I remember. The atmosphere, food, and people were fantastic with great service to top off the overall experience. Highly recommended for an amazing meal and a touch of Italy I Tucson. Maddie, you were amazing, thank you.

My first time here, but my husband raved about it! We love the old school feel and decor first of all, and the food was delicious too. Only problem I had was getting too full because I wanted to keep eating. Looking forward to next time.

This is a very classic Italian American place. Big portions and heavy on the sauce. I went with my mom. She had Chicken Parmesan and I had Eggplant Parmesan. The Chicken and Eggplant both tasted great. The chicken was properly cooked and well seasoned. The garlic bread sticks were also really good. The only downside was the side of pasta was very soggy with no bite. On the bland sidr as well. I cannot dock them too hard for this though because that's the style at a lot of traditional Italian American joints. Overall pretty good.

Just drive to Vero Amore or really any other place, not that there's any good Italian places in Tucson. I have Italian in-laws in the southern part of the state, and my wife has said multiple times that the Italian restaurants in Tucson are extremely lackluster, going back over 20 years

My wife an I love trying local Italian restaurants everytime we make our way to a big city. I really love family establishments. This one did not disappoint. We were greeted by very nice staff and we didn't have to wait. We got breadstick after we ordered our food. Honestly, we could have probably cleaned out the restaurant of those breads sticks. Best I've ever had. I ordered Joe's Special because it was (im guessing still is) their keystone dish. All I have to say is wow about it. I like tasting different versions of restaurants house sauce and this one surprised me. Looking at it, i was guessing It was going to taste heavy like tomato paste because on how dark it is. Defently not. Its super flavorful with a good balance of seasonings and a bright tangy finish. Most excellent. As far as the rest of the dish, I love the home made noodles. The hot pepper seeds add a nice kick but not too spicy. I order mine with meatballs and I would reccomended that too. The price for the experience would have been the same price for Olive Garden but 100x better that any big name "Italian" restaurant. 10/10 would reccomend if you are anywhere near Tucson.
