This used to be our go-to place for a great steak with outstanding service. After our dining experience tonight, it seems to be losing its luster. Our server was very nice, but….not very attentive. A party a couple tables over were actually waving their hands over their head (no joke) for service. It seemed like something was wrong. When our server came to our table, I pointed to the other table and said it looks like they need some help, to which he responded, “That’s not my table.”Well, perhaps you can alert their server, I thought. Or better yet, just go over there; will it hurt you to help your coworker? The Tomahawk Steak we ordered was great. The Corn Brulé was beyond tasty, and of course the grilled brussels sprouts were perfect. We ordered two bottles of Quilt Cabernet (four-of-us) which were aged well and robust. Okay, so, I must be getting old and cranky but I could not help but notice how sloppy the staff looked. Their presentation was poor. You know what bugged me? The entire staff’s shirts. They look like their white shirts were washed with their dark jeans and cleaning rags. Did mom and dad never show them how to do their laundry? Their shirts were just dingy and dirty looking, and they weren’t pressed. They looked like they yanked them out of the dryer and put them on. I hate that, nowadays people think a shirt out of the dryer is suffice but, it is not. Especially in fine dining. Every single one of their servers do not know how to use an iron. Seriously? Maybe it’s just me; maybe I’m just getting old and bitchy, but my staff would never wear wrinkled clothes to work. I kept an ironing board, an iron and starch at my business. If any of my staff arrived to work with shirts like that, I’d send them to the back and tell them to iron their clothes. There’s a reason an ironing board has a rounded end and a square end. Trust me, my staff knew what they were for and used them accordingly. Oh, and what happened to The Wedge salad? I ordered a wedge salad and I got a chopped salad. Jose explained, corporate wants them served like this now. Well, then take Wedge Salad off the menu because it’s no longer a wedge, it’s chopped. I’m a big boy, I know how to cut up my wedge salad; I don’t need it done for me. And your Bananas Foster is NOT Bananas Foster. Where the heck were the bananas? Instead, it is banana flavored bread pudding with ice cream. It did not look, nor taste appetizing. Bottom line, it was bad. Its texture was slimy. I left it. Couldn’t do it. The men’s room needed attention badly. When sitting in the stall (yup, I’m going there) one has a nice view of the dusty door slats and the missing grout on the base tile. Paper towels are scattered, the wastebasket was overflowing, and the sink area was wet and messy. Yo, GM: go sit in one of your stalls and check out the view. Come on Fleming’s, service and presentation is everything. Especially with your prices - $714.16, $594.16 + $120.00 gratuity for a party of four. Do better! We have patronized Flemings countless times and this is my first HUGE letdown. And, with out-of-town guests in tow. Take a moment and read this at your next staff meeting. Explain how to do LAUNDRY. Place an ironing board, iron and spray starch in back. Ask your staff to Google, “How to properly iron my dress shirt.” Be assured, people notice. <Stepping off my soapbox>

I went here last night to celebrate with my family, I had been here 2 weeks earlier and had to send back my main filet as it was over-cooked, sent it back. I was highly disappointed. Last night l ordered a medium steak again... AGAIN steak was well done, wilty Caesar salad, . Service was slow, and it was a 430pm dinner. They had only been open for 30 min. When l have spent $1,000's, and you pay $60+ for some entrees, its fair to expect great service and great food. Im done with Flemmings... lf you cant get a steak right 2 times in a row. You lost my business..BEWARE!!!

Chris was absolutely wonderful! And that's an understatement. He went above and beyond in more ways than one. We've been going to Fleming's for many years now and he was by far probably one of the best servers we've ever had! He was extremely attentive, but not overly attentive where it could be a bother. We never had to wait for our drinks to be refilled, it was great timing in-between courses, he would always check in, gave us plenty of time, never made us feel rushed, but made himself available if we had questions. He was personable, polite, funny, and a joy to be around. We were able to have a lovely dining experience just with our family alone but Chris made it that much better. Even though the food is amazing, we'd come back just for him.
