I got 10 slices of brisket., a cup of pull pork, and XL cup of potato salad and 4 small pieces of corn on the cob with three little cups of two chocolate pudding, banana pudding, a large peach cobbler. This did not feed 4 people. My total was $97.98 , this is robbery at its finest. I will never buy or even go to Rudy's.

The pulled pork was ok, not your tipical flavor, tasted nice with their barbeque sauce, both of them. Baby back ribs where good, needed a bit of flavor, but the sauces where perfect for them. The corn on the cob was ok, the corn cream was really good. The jalapeño sausage was tasty, but go for the brisket and the tuekey. Their sweet tea was excellent.

Let me preface by saying that I arrived to the restaurant at exactly 9:30 on a Friday night, so I know that doesn’t make me the most popular customer of the day. I was really looking forward to the food and was sorry for being there when I was, but I didn’t have the opportunity to apologize. The manager let me in and was gracious, I told him thank you and I just wanted to take something real quick to go. As I walked toward the counter though, one of their punk kid employees threw a fit (which I was in earshot of) and said, “I already put everything away, I’m not doing this”. I immediately said, “Nevermind, I’m good”, put my hands up and walked out. I did also suggest to the employee that they shouldn’t mouth off when the customer is within earshot, after their manager lets a last minute customer in. The manager did offer to get me my food, but I wasn’t about to give a business money after encountering such poor customer service. The employees here need to be reminded that they work in the service industry and the customers pay their paychecks. I run a customer facing business and I’d fire the employee on the spot for that nonsense.
