    Just moved to Vail from California and I am a regular late night patron at this Macdonalds off Houghton. The manager Andrea is very professional and always cordial making each visit a welcoming atmosphere . The staff is excellent too. One of the best Macdonalds in the Tucson area. I highly recommend this location …

    I go here often and I do not expect perfection out of a McDonalds but tonight was horrible service to the tenth power. Drive thru, place order, they tell me to pull up to the "third window" I literally wait 15 to 20 minutes had to keep beeping the horn to finally get someone to come. Over 20 people passed by me in the meantime and get this I still did not get any food. lol Truly pathetic. I just got a refund at that point and went across the street to Freddy's where everything was done with zero problem. HORRIBLE.

    Every time I come to this McDonald’s, there seems to be some sort of issue, either with the food or with the service. Usually, I let it slide, but tonight’s experience was so frustrating that I felt it needed to be shared in hopes that corporate McDonald’s takes notice and addresses what’s clearly an ongoing problem at this location. I placed a simple mobile order for pickup through the drive-thru: a Chicken Nugget Happy Meal, a large fry, one large Coke, and one large Dr Pepper. When I arrived, I was told I would have to come inside to order. I explained multiple times that I had already ordered and paid through the app, but the employee kept repeating that I needed to come in to order and pay. Trying to clear up the confusion, I pulled forward to the window to speak directly with her, but she ignored me completely, standing there staring at the monitor for five full minutes. Eventually, I gave up and parked to go inside. Once in the lobby, there were no employees at the counter, and none made any effort to help the customers who had been redirected from the drive-thru. After waiting another five minutes, I finally managed to flag down an employee. At first, she also told me I had to order again inside, but once I showed her my mobile order, she finally understood. She mentioned that their monitor wasn’t showing mobile orders, which, fine, can happen, but that doesn’t explain the complete lack of communication or customer service from the rest of the team. Why didn’t the manager step up and have someone assist customers at the counter if the drive-thru system was down? Instead, staff ignored paying customers and created an incredibly frustrating experience for everyone waiting. Corporate McDonald’s really needs to audit this location and provide proper management and customer service training. This level of disorganization and disregard for customers is unacceptable.

    Well I made the mistake of going back here because the wife wanted a burger. 10-18-2025 at 930 at night. Only car in drive thru- ordered two cheeseburger meal. The teenage boy sent me to the dreaded "third window" to wait for food. Sat there 10 minutes and no food.Three cars behind got their food. I went in to get a refund and the cashier came up front and found our food had been sitting on the counter. Teen age manager gave me a hard time because I wanted a refund, Teenage crew goofying around and not working. This is what you get hiring a bunch of kids. We went to the new Whataburger and received our food immediately with friendly, professional staff and service. Goodbye Mcdonalds, Hello Whataburger!!

    absolutely cracks under pressure when there's more than five people inside the McDonald's or more than three people in the drive-through it takes more than a half an hour to get an order on top of the managers looking panicked and not professional when getting the job done people in the back standing around not getting anything done and orders coming out out of order where a family came in behind me and got food before me even though I ordered less
