  This apparently is the only way I can communicate with you even though I would prefer not to voice this openly. Regardless, my wife and I arrived at approximately 6 Pm and it was raining and we were told there would be a wait for a party of 2. We said we would wait at the bar but we're informed that the bar was only for customers who would be eating at the bar. We then agreed, reluctantly, to go to the bar for our dinner. A few minutes later another couple came up to the bar with the same intent to have a drink waiting for a table. When they were told about your rule they managed to persuade the staff to let them wait there for their table along with another couple they were waiting for. They were eventually seated. This was not a way to treat a customer. We paid up and left without ordering a meal. This visit rated no stars. LA Olla is one of our favorite restaurants but I will think twice before I take my wife there again. ***************************** ** Thanks for your response but even though I was not looking forward to eating at the bar which is not conducive to comfortable dining my real complaint was the other couple being accommodated. I don't understand what made them better than my wife and I. Had that not happened we would have had our meal there.
