There was a lot of celebrations and everyone seemed to be having a great time. Also the quesa birria tacos are phenomenal!

Now every time I go to Tucson, I'll come here first and last. The service was stellar, the decor was fun, the vibe was relaxed but upbeat, everything was clean but even without all that I'd go back for that food. Wow. My husband said, "I can never eat another omelette anywhere without comparing it to this one." And I had a tamale that made me realize I'd never really appreciated tamales before that one despite them being one of my favorite foods. I'm telling you, if you're thinking of going here, stop thinking and just go. I cannot see how anyone could regret eating at this place and I can't wait to come back next month.

The flavors were warm, robust, delicate and powerfully layered with mouth explosions of delirium, boldness and a sense of "I can accomplish anything!". My table companions named me the Queen of Foodie Selections, I went on to win a Nobel Gastronomy Award, saved numerous mezcal bottles from slow consumption, and came to realize that La Chingada Cocina Mexicana would be a repeat occurrence.
