In the Tucson area and my first time here. Five stars on all three ratings! A Cozy dining area adds a personal touch for guests from out of town, family, or business meetings. Great food at great prices. The meals are carefully and thoughtfully prepared.
I enjoyed the Homemade Mole as an additional choice of chili sauce. Their chips and salsa have a unique texture with the addition of green onions when dining in person. Different menu items for the “to go” option.
Quaint festive vibe for the cold weather with outdoor patio heaters to keep you warm while you are imbibing on their tasty craft drinks. Reservations are welcomed and requests for catering are encouraged!
Great place. Not a ton of room inside, but the food is fantastic.
Guac and chips is good, but be aware the guac is more natural and less garlic. I prefer it that way, so I enjoyed the hell out of it.
Got a carne asada burrito and it was super tasty and fresh. Could have used a little more sour cream, but I could ask for that next time and I'm sure they'll do it.
Check this place out, much better food than Little Mexico.

We decided to try a new place this past Saturday which happen to be Valentines day in Tucson. We are a family of 4. Service was great and food was just ok. I had the chilaquilas w/birria they came out practically cold. My husband ordered birria mole enchiladas he said they where ok but needed some more flavor. My son ordered rolled shredded meat tacos idk where the meat was because I didn't see any in them. My daughter ordered the red menudo she said it was just ok too. The only thing I really liked was their rice no hard ones in there. Oh and we ordered the roasted corn as an appetizer. That was good but have had it way better at other places. I also had a margarita that was also just ok. The restaurant is very small a few tables inside with a larger amount of tables outside. We sat inside no music playing, a TV was on w/some show. 🤷♀️ so atmosphere was pretty sad. Didn't leave wanting to go back that's for sure. Save your money and go somewhere else.
Maybe I just caught them on an off day, but I was so underwhelmed by my first, and probably last, visit. My food was mediocre at best, overcooked and the birria was very dry. They were out of rice, which isn’t a biggie, but they didn’t tell us or ask if we wanted a substitution. I had to ask for silverware and napkins while we waited to eat our food. The server was nice enough but not very helpful, we had empty waters for most of our visit and they left our finished dishes on the table the entire time. They even pushed the dirty plates out of the way to put the dessert, and later the check, down. Again, I hope I’m wrong and it was just a weird night, but still was very disappointing.

I ordered online but called in to verify the order and ask for salsa on the side. The person who took my special request explained the standard offering and went ahead and included a third popular salsa usually reserved for in person guests.
I ordered 2 asada tacos with corn tortillas & another asada taco with the flour tortilla. I also ordered a cheese quesadilla which was substantial for the price. Finally I got a side of chips and guacamole. The guacamole was very fresh and not over seasoned but the chips were a little hard/stale?
Overall I think the food was good quality, portions were moderate to slightly above average. The food was not over seasoned but a few things needed salt which I don't hold against any restaurant. I just moved up to this area of Marana and will be trying a few other Mexican spots to find my new regular cocina Mexicana.
