- THTim HuntNov 14, 20255.0Working on a project in Tucson, we decided to have lunch before traveling home. We wanted someplace that was local, felt like Mexican food, this place was close….. The salsa with the chips is amazing!!! The Salsa had a great and unique flavor, had to finish the whole dish!!! We had the shredded chicken enchiladas with 1/2 mole and 1/2 green sauce, personally I’m not into Mole sauce, so can’t speak to that, however, I was told it was great!! The green sauce, chicken and rice are great!! We also had the birria burrito, with beans inside, and had the guacamole and sour cream put on the side, it was delicious, this alone was worth the trip!!! Service was outstanding, they were steadily busy….not too busy, had a great atmosphere, looking forward to lunch here again!!!!

Seated upon entry with prompt arrival of tortillia chips and salsa. The salsa appeared to prepared with fresh ingredients and was flavorful with a hint of heat. My choice was tamales with sides of refried beans and rice. Great tasting! Friendly and cozy. I will return. The Humo Enchiladas looked really tasty.

So far, mole wings, elote, and Birria tacos are my favorite. Looking forward to sharing the tomahawk steak with someone soon! We went on a night when they had live music and it really set the mood. Two huge thumbs up from this guy!
