Called and placed a cake order ahead of time, asked specifically if they could make it Chargers football theme, with either a Charger or lightning bolt. Everything was agreed and confirmed on. I go to pick up today(Father's Day) and I am completely disappointed with how it turned out. The colors are not correct, no bolts of any kind, and the writing could have been done a lot better! They offered to redo the cake, but would only change the border, and I would have to drive back out to pick up! When asked for a partial refund, that was also refused! They couldn't even do cursive writing, when asked! I have worked food, and I know how it is, but you guys did not want to work with me, and I was so nice about it too!! Manager stated she's not a professional when it comes to cakes. If that's the case, this particular DQ should not advertise customizable cakes!! I am so disappointed that I was in charge of a cool Chargers cake for my dad for Father's Day/birthday. $35 is way too much for an 8 inch cake, that I can't get my way. My family and I will not be returning to this particular DQ again.
