Great Food. Terrible Online Ordering System causing issues both times I’ve gone; this last time being bad enough to write a bad review which I don’t typically don’t do hardly ever. Waited 35 minutes after the ready by time to only find it was sitting where the entire time. It took a 3rd time asking and insisting they look up my actual order before they realized their mistake. I left hungry and not happy…. :/

Came in for a quick dinner. Stayed for the quesabirria con caldo and the AMAZING mango margaritas! Im in town for work and every local person that I met suggested this place. The food was beyond delicious.
Oscar was our server and he was knowledgeable, patient, and his suggestions really helped us choose our dishes. If I lived locally, this would be my SPOT!
It is a little cozy in there but after 5 minutes we didnt even notice.

We’re in Tucson for a family wedding. This was our 1st time here at Amelia’s. We are of Mexican descent so we are critical of our Mexican food (not TexMex). First test was the Salsa w/ chips. Both very delicious (not hot but had great flavor). Francisco, our waiter, brought us our beautiful Mimosa’s. Recommended the Chilaquiles Divorciados (added eggs, steak) for brunch. Very filling and sabroso!!! Topped it off with an Irish Coffee.

My first trip to Tucson and I decided to try Amelia’s. This place does not disappoint. From the time I walked in I was greeted with kindness, professionalism, smiles, and good energy. The savory food smells hit you in the face immediately. The staff was wonderful. The bar tender Carlos is fantastic. He made me a Jalepeno prickly pear margarita.. soooo good! I had a veggie burrito that was made to perfection. This place is a must try. I’ll be back before I leave Tucson.

Amelia's Mexican Kitchen isn't just a restaurant; it's a destination for truly exceptional Mexican cuisine in Tucson, Arizona. Our recent dining experience was flawless from start to finish, earning every single one of these five stars.
We kicked off our meal with the Choriqueso Fundido, and it was the perfect opening act: rich, gooey cheese blended perfectly with savory chorizo. It was absolutely delicious and set a high bar for the entrees to follow.
And what a parade of entrees it was! We sampled a variety of dishes, and each was exquisite, flavorful, and left us wanting more. The Amelia's Molcajete was a showstopper, sizzling with robust, traditional flavors. The Carne Asada Chimichanga Enchilada Style was a perfectly crisp, savory delight smothered in luxurious sauce. The Rolled Taquitos Plate (Chicken) offered wonderful texture and authentic taste, while the Birria Mini Chimia Plate delivered deep, satisfying birria flavor in a perfectly portioned bite. Every main dish demonstrated skill and passion.
Finally, we finished with the Chocoflan, a dessert that is nothing short of a masterpiece. The contrast between the rich chocolate cake and the silky flan, all crowned with caramel, was the ideal, sweet ending to a magnificent meal.
If you are looking for authentic, high-quality, and deeply satisfying Mexican food, you must visit Amelia's Mexican Kitchen. Highly, highly recommended!
