  Was really looking forward to coming here...unfortunately I was disappointed. Waited in the lobby for someone to seat us with several staff walking by. Finally someone asked if we'd been helped, said no, and told someone would be there soon. Place was not packed. Very clean and waitstaff looked professional. Bathroom fan could use a good cleaning. No towels, only blow dryer. ( I look at restrooms as an indication of Kitchen cleanliness). Food was okay...not horrible, not great. Waiter was prompt, friendly and courteous. Probably wouldn't go again. 😕

  We finally tried Amelia’s Mexican Kitchen after driving by for the past four years—and I’m so glad we did! We ordered takeout, and everything was exceptional. The flavors were amazing, and you can really taste how fresh the ingredients are. The green mole was especially delicious—rich and full of flavor. Portions were generous, and the pricing felt very reasonable for the quality of food. We’ll definitely be back—can’t believe it took us this long to try it!

  As a native Houstonian, I am always on a mission for good Mexican food, even while on vacation! During our first trip to Tucson, I came across Amelia’s through a Google search and knew we needed to try it. We were blown away by the service and quality of food. Francisco was such a kind and friendly server and had great recommendations. We hope to return someday, and in the meantime, we will be telling anyone we know coming to Tucson about Amelia’s. Thank you for a delicious and memorable dinner!

  It was my first time at Amelia’s Mexican Kitchen in Tucson, and it definitely won’t be my last. The food was absolutely top-tier—fresh, flavorful, and easily some of the best Mexican food I’ve had. You can tell everything is made with care, from the house-made salsas to the perfectly cooked dishes. What really made the night stand out though was the service at the bar. Johan and Louie were outstanding—super attentive, welcoming, and just great people to be around. They made sure everything was on point the entire time and created a vibe that made me want to stay longer and come back again. Between the incredible food, great drinks, and top-notch service, this place lives up to the hype. If you’re in Tucson, sitting at the bar with Johan and Louie is a must.

  Amelia’s Kitchen completely exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely amazing, the drinks were fantastic, and the atmosphere was perfect—warm, inviting, and comfortable. Walking in, you might think it’s just a little hole-in-the-wall spot, but don’t be fooled—this place is truly something special. We had the shrimp ceviche and the fajitas, and both were outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. Every bite reflected the care and pride put into the food. What stood out to us the most was how genuinely caring and passionate the entire staff was. Each employee took immense pride in their work, and you could truly tell they loved what they do. That level of hospitality elevated the entire experience. A special hats off to Louis and Daniel, who took great care of us as both servers and bartenders. Their attentiveness, personality, and skill made the night even better. Thank you to the entire team at Amelia’s Kitchen for an incredible experience—we’ll definitely be back!
