Awesome spot to grab food and enjoy time with friends. The menu is great and the game selection is massive, there’s something for everyone. Always a fun experience every time I go.

Food and drinks are EXTREMELY overpriced and disappointing. Latte was 95% milk and sugar and burger looked amazing but tasted like fast food. The self-serve POS system is super unintuitive. I think for what they charge for food, you should be allowed to play simply by purchasing food and drinks. Would not recommend unless you just want to pay the $6 to play games. The game selection is pretty rad. Good idea, bad execution.

*Edit: Not changing the rating, however, we came back today because we enjoyed this place. We were extremely displeased finding out that our tab was closed WITHOUT our permission or knowledge, WITH a tip included, until we went back in to order some food. We had told our waitress we would close out online when we were ready when she offered to close us out personally. We always tip. This was unacceptable and we feel like we were violated financially. So now instead of ordering more, we are leaving the establishment.*
We came here for our wedding anniversary to have some fun, play some games, and eat some grub. Our server was friendly, upbeat, and took great care of us! They even have the board game Red Rising available to play, which hasn't been available at any other board game cafe!
A cool resource they have, is the board game librarian. They can give you tips and recommendations on what to play! We tried out a few new games, which had us laughing and having a good time!
The whiskey coke was tasty, as was the caramelized burger (I forget the actual name). The fries were perfectly cooked! But the food I would die for there, is the cookie skillet! Oh my gosh, it was exceptional! The cookie was so gooey and tasty, that I was scraping the last little bits before I gave the skillet up 😂.
It's only $6 per person to play all the board games you want for the day!

Great place until I received my bill stating I paid for an extra meal I didn’t even order. Was also charged a tip and my significant other had already paid for our food and drinks. Apparently this is not the first time this has happened- check your receipts before you leave here. I will be disputing the transaction.
Update: This was NOT obviously visible anywhere at this venue or mentioned on the app or at least not easily seen by customers.

We went as a group with a reservation and there were water glasses and a pitcher already at the table for us. We were told to scan the QR code and order food & drinks through there along with our $6 per person playing games fee. That causes food and drink to come out not at the same time which wasn’t too bad. The food was fine, but pricey for what we got. The drinks were beyond pricey for the size glasses in which they’re served. So far, so good…ish. But as we sat there with clearly finished plates, not one server or table busser came to clear or table. Not one. We finally resorted to moving plates, etc. to the neighboring table which did get someone to notice and clear things. We were there to play games & they knew that. They should have been paying attention to our table. Once cleaned, we had a great time playing games. Upon wanting to leave and settling our bills, none of us could get back to our “tabs” to leave an appropriate tip. Our credit cards were already logged since we had to put that in when ordering. But we didn’t tip when ordering because a tip should be based on service received. Other than someone bringing out our food and drinks, we had no service. We weren’t asked if our food was okay at any point. It may as well have been a pricey fast food joint. I do not tip at fast food. I did not wish to tip here but the bare minimum. Since I couldn’t see my bill on their app anymore, I had no idea until I got home that it automatically added a 20% tip on the total bill including all the taxes. That’s outrageous for a place that basically ignored us.
I like the idea of games and food & drink. But there needs to be service for the prices being charged. We will not return. The idea is good - but not the execution. And an automatic 20% tip on the total bill seems like a scam when they did next to nothing.
