I had not been to Rainforest Cafe since they opened in 1997. My husband and I went for my birthday lunch. The food was delicious! I had the platter of Talapia, coconut shrimp, and a sweet and spicy grilled shrimp. My husband had the fried chicken with hot honey and curry coleslaw. His chicken was cooked to perfection, done but still juicy. Annie, our waitress was fantastic! Friendly, knowledgeable, she helped us pick the best meals! And our drinks were never empty.

You do not come here to eat. You come here to experience. From the moment you step through the blue watery arches, you’re transported from the heat of the desert to the cool tropical climate of the jungle. The place is a character in itself, coming alive every 25 minutes in a thundery eruption of delightful chaos. Greeted by the friendly staff and helpful servers, you’re welcomed in the best way possible. The food you ask? Delightful. Not only does each meal have a fun and whimsical name, but each meal comes with an incredible flavor profile. I have it on good authority that the creole mac and cheese is the best you’ll ever have, trust me. To ADD to the experience, our server Asiah was so helpful, prompt, and attentive the entire time. My group was thoroughly entertained by Selah the balloon artist. we received not one, not two, but THREE pieces of art. A crown, a sword, and a lifelike Garfield!!!! GO TO YOUR CLOSEST RAINFOREST CAFE IMMEDIATELY especially if it’s at AZ Mills

We stopped in for a late lunch after 1pm with a group of 2 adults and 2 kids, and although the place was still packed, we didn't have to wait more than one minute to be seated. Drink orders were taken immediately. Our kids' meals were brought out super fast and were perfect temp to eat, the adult meals took a bit longer, but we all finished around the same time. We've never been to a Rainforest Cafe before and LOVED the atmosphere. Such an entertaining place to wait for food. The food was AWESOME. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The servings (even the kids meals!) were big! We had no complaints about anything. The gift shop is huge and we looked around for about 20 minutes and didn't purchase anything, and were happy that we didn't feel any pressure to buy anything either. The kids meals came with a discount on a gift shop purchase as well.

I wanted to go to rainforest cafe as a kid but they closed in San Francisco and we never made it. During our 2025 holiday travels we flew through phoenix and came across this one by accident. I am an adult now and was able to relive my childhood through my 3 year old and 1 year old. The animal decorations were fun, the food was great, and the service was outstanding. We are expecting #3 which led to some chit chat with our server. Turns out he has a newborn (and probably sleep deprived) yet was full of energy and really seemed to enjoy his job. Thank you Kris, you really made our experience on that day!

My family and I were visiting from our home state yesterday and stopped by this restaurant for a congratulatory lunch for my brother, who just graduated with his Master's degree, before our drive back home. The food and service at the restaurant were great, but the gift shop was a very different story. My family and I are a mixed race group with the majority of us being Black American, and we were racially profiled. As we were leaving the restaurant, we stopped inside the gift shop to buy gifts for the younger children in our large party of 13. As we looked around, I noticed the cashier run after my brother into the mall (he was taking his travel bags back to the car; he had changed in the restroom after his graduation since we had a long drive back home and he had been wearing his suit/regalia). The cashier stopped and spoke something quietly into her headset. Three male security guards (or employees) were called and stood tersely next to our party at the gift shop as members of our party checked out and made their purchases. Luckily, my brother and his children did not notice, as that would have ruined yesterday which should have been a very happy occasion for him and all of us. I do not stand for this type of profiling, and I am very vocal about this. I will be reaching out to your corporate team to report this incident, to ensure something like this does not happen again to others.
