There were 3–4 employees working—one at the register, a couple in the lobby, and one by the grill—and I was the only customer there. No one greeted me when I walked in, and even though I waited patiently at the counter, no one asked for my order. One employee even looked at me, then turned away and kept sweeping. There are other places in that same plaza, like Smashburger and Thai Chili, but I specifically wanted Chipotle that night. After being ignored for several minutes, I ended up leaving and going to Smashburger instead. I’ve usually had decent experiences at Chipotle, but this visit was disappointing enough that I haven’t gone back since. I hope the staff improves their customer service, even toward closing time.
