Stopped in for lunch on my trip from Orlando. The atmosphere is warm and authentic but still modern. All the staff were awesome and attentive.
I had a miso soup, spicy tekka (tuna) maki, and by our server's recommendation, the cherry bomb nigiri. All of it was tasty and fresh but the cherry bomb is unlike any sushi I've had before, super unique and delicious.
Our server LJ was fantastic! Very chill and friendly. She deserved a $4 million tip, but the bank said no 😔.

My boyfriend and I usually love coming here! We always above a great experience - but this past time our server, Aspen, was very rude and just absolutely horrible at her job! She was asking her other tables how they were doing, but she never once checked on us unless we have waved her down specifically and asked about our food. Our appetizer came after three of the four rolls that we had ordered were already finished. That fourth role never came until we badgered and asked about it and asked to pay the check and leave. Also the 4th role was later given to us in a to go box but was not even the roll we ordered. She also refused to check us out and had another co worker do it who was very nice.

Went for the first time yesterday the food was SO GOOD! Not only was the manager nice enough to give us happy hour prices at 6:28pm when it ended at 6:30pm, but the waiter was so kind and nice! Jamie F we love you! Then after we requested a sushi boat, and they brought us a sushi bridge, so cute! Ambiance is great, food was awesome, and staff is EVEN BETTER! customer service was everything! Thank you so much guys, we will be back!!

I ordered the yellow tail Serrano 17 dollars. I was served 5 paper thin slices of the worst most inedible fish I have had the displeasure of being put in front of me. I thought it was a joke actually, less than 1 ounce in total weight for 5 pieces. They were hard, tasteless, and partially frozen on the ends. In hopes of redemption I ordered the salmon sashimi. Hard to mess that up but sadly they also failed and I was served nearly frozen tasteless slimy thin slices of again the worst inedible fish. Superpumper the gas station serves better quality for less.

Blue Sake Sushi Grill in Tempe is hands-down one of the best sushi spots in the area. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between upscale and relaxed — ideal for a casual night out or a special occasion. Every dish was beautifully presented and incredibly fresh — from the sashimi sampler to the specialty rolls that were bursting with flavor.
What truly made the night outstanding was Jackie, our server. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect — anticipating what we needed before we even asked. Her timing, personality, and attention to detail took the entire dining experience to another level. It’s rare to find that level of service anywhere.
If you’re looking for exceptional sushi, craft cocktails, and next-level hospitality, Blue Sake Sushi Grill is the place. Five stars across the board — ask for Jackie when you go. She’s a total standout and the heart of the restaurant’s amazing service.
