Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

My husband and I have eaten here several times. It has always been pretty good. I don't know what happened. We picked up burgers tonight. They were really bad. The buns were stale, obviously the cheese was put on a cold burger because it didn't melt. Very disappointing. We won't be returning anytime soon.

Waited in the drive thru line for 20 minutes only to be asked if I was sure my name isn’t Shannon…clearly it’s not. Finally got the right bag and everything was cold! Fries cold and dry, burgers cold and the kids nuggets could break a window they were so hard. And we didn’t even get our ranch to drench them in! Needless to say we won’t be going back. Waited in the drive thru line for 20 minutes only to be asked if I was sure my name isn’t Shannon…clearly it’s not. Finally got the right bag and everything was cold! Fries cold and dry, burgers cold and the kids nuggets could break a window they were so hard. And we didn’t even get our ranch to drench them in! Needless to say we won’t be going back.

Curtis was absolutely astonishing with the customer service! The food was out fast and tasted delectable. my favorite location mostly because of big curt.
