  I got the beef and cheddar croissant along with the chocolate cake shake. The shake was great. The croissant was very disappointing. It was supposed to be cheddar cheese sauce but instead it was just shredded cheddar cheese not even melted. It was not good.

  Came here for a nice, quick dinner for my family while my grandfather was in town and I'm honestly disappointed. It was a bit busy when I came inside, your average dinner rush so I expected a bit of a wait. A nice worker helped me and my family once we got to the register and let us know our food would be out shortly and we could sit down till then. As we walked over to the dining area i noticed that the trash definitely needed changed and it seemed like every table was dirty. We eventually found a table and got our food but my grandfather didn't receive his sauce with his order. There was a girl, i think her name was Desiree? who had started cleaning tables, that he politely asked if she could go grab him his sauce but he was met with an AWFUL attitude. She did end up getting his sauce but she made sure we knew she felt inconvenienced. The other employees seemed nice and didn't have any issues. Not sure if she was just having a bad day but she made our dinner less enjoyable

  What’s not to love about Portillo’s? I’m SO happy I can still get my Chicago Italian Beef sandwich (and hot dog) even after leaving Chi-town years ago. Although it is pricey for a family of five, I will always make it a regular part of my schedule.

  This is a very clean and large restaurant. Ordering is easy either at the kiosk or with a person. They have some specials otherwise its a little pricey. Loved the Chicago dog and the Italian beef but the sausage did not have a great flavor. Overall its a good experience.

  So, food was delicious... However, a hair was found in our food and that was highly disappointing although not surprising given that I didn't see a single person with a hair net on so everyone's hair was just hanging out over all the food being made. DISAPPOINTING. Service was fair, the wait for food was long and the cashier taking our order kept interrupting with talking through the mic while we were in the middle of order even a single dish.
