I went through the dried strew and asked for a golden eagle with iced coffee instead of blended. I had recently got one of these at another location and it was perfect. I told her I wanted a large. After a little discussion about me, not liking a whole lot of milk in my coffee. I ended up with a small iced coffee that was extremely strong. No Carmel. No vanilla. It was NASTY. SOOOO DISAPPOINTED.
I will be going back to the other location on Bell Road!!

Edit: Aaliyah is the employee’s name.
Let me start by saying I’ve been a diehard Dutch Bros patron/enthusiast for 12 years. I go every single day. Numerous locations know my husband and I, and our order. We LOVE Dutch. I’ve also been back and forth with this location specifically because of a consistency issue with the drinks, especially considering my drink order is fairly easy (large extra sweet Annihilator). A lot of the time the coffee is SUPER bitter (burned espresso) but on occasion it is really good, and this is our closest location.
What I really went to this location for was the barista’s. IYKYK, Dutch employee’s are second to none in their great attitudes and hospitality. Namely, Kaia, Trinity, Dawson, Maya and a couple others. Most of them have left this location. Now, there’s a new blonde girl with glasses- I am trying to figure out her name and will add it here when I have it. She is the exact opposite of what Dutch is about and the face they want representing their company. I have never, in my 12 years of coming to Dutch EVER met a rude employee, especially to the degree that I feel compelled to write a review but after multiple interactions with her I’ve erased my previous review gushing on how great the other employees were that have since left to write this. I know Dutch is paying attention to these reviews because I was told by another employee my raving review was brought to their attention. So I’m really crossing my fingers you read and consider this one.
Every time we interact with this employee she seems completely bored, bothered, and put out while taking orders, she mumbles half the time. She’s just got this air about her that she’d rather be anywhere else, doing ANYTHING else. In the drive-thru line she does this thing EVERY time: at the end of the order when she’s supposed to instruct you which vehicle you’re behind she says it as she’s walking away from you. Before she finishes the conversation she starts walking away and literally says who you’re supposed to follow while turned away from you. I have watched her do this with numerous orders numerous times in the drive-thru. It was almost comical, because she either is entirely unaware of herself, or she truly does not give a fluff. It strikes me more as the latter, but I digress.
Today (Tuesday 12/23/25 approx 9:00am) the drive-thru was long so my husband decided to do the walk up, and of course, she was the one taking orders at the window. He said he approached the window and she told him to hold on so she could pass a few drinks out, fine. Then he tried to walk up after she had passed them out to the customer that was waiting and she again put her finger up and said hang on that another gentleman was going to finish paying for his order (there was no one standing at the window btw, that gentleman was apparently walking back to his car to get money) once that customer paid she told him she’d have his drink right out and gave it to him. Then my husband approached again and she proceeded to ignore him while doing other busying work (put drinks in cooler, wiped down the counter all while completely ignoring him standing right in front of her) and then she turns to another employee and says “do you wanna take care of this?” To which the other employee responded “sure, what is it?” and she says “I don’t know I think an order” all right in front of my husband like he’s not standing there, and then she walks off. The employee that served him was per usual, very polite, friendly, and efficient.
All of that to say, our distaste due to her behaviors has grown over time where we just don’t even want to go to this location anymore, and seeing as she handles multiple customers this way, I would assume we aren’t the only ones that feel this way. I really hope that consideration is taken regarding this, as I’ve mentioned, we do love Dutch and would love the convenience of going to our closest location. But this employee is not at all what Dutch represents and is honestly souring the desire to return here.

If you're going to have two drive-thru lanes, MAKE SURE YOU PAY ATTENTION TO THE ORDER OF THOSE LANE LINES!!! Twice now, people in the shorter inside lane had their orders taken and were served ahead of people who were already there waiting in line BEFORE them! Today, a car in the inside lane was able to move ahead of THREE cars in the outside lane who were there before them! And the car behind them moved ahead of one car who was there before them. THAT IS CRAP!!!
