I heard we were supposed to get a frys a while back? But because of GREED! BIG SAFEWAY DIDN'T WANT TO LOSE THEY'RE BILLIONS. This store is all about the owners filling they're pockets and not about the people. I suggest you all go to walmart, or doller general, and save yourself half the cost. Visit phoenix and stock up. That winco has great prices. Lived here over 20 years and I still laugh at the prices 🤣

However due to my wifes back injury and living almost 2 hours from this store we decided to do our monthly order online for pickup. DO NOT EVER put a big order in! Our cans looked like they were kicked around. Tortillas looked like someone smashed them up in their hand box of noodles were open and noodles coming out of the box and our olive oil was open and spilling allover the car. If you place a big online oder in through this store they will get mad and kick your groceries around. Id expect this out of other stores but not safeway. We called to complain and asked them if they get angry when they have to pack big orders. The manager said no and told us she couldn't do anything but issue refunds for the items and 3-4 people packed our order so there was no way of telling who did it. Managment didn't seem to care. Worst safeway in AZ hands down.

The in-store pharmacy has been one of the quickest and better quality places to get your prescriptions in the area.
